A copy of West  Hempfield Township’s Pollutant Reduction Plan for stormwater discharges of nutrients and sediment to local surface waters and the Chesapeake Bay will be available for public review and comment on July 12, 2017. This Plan includes stormwater system maps; the existing loading rates of sediment, phosphorus, and nitrogen; the required pollutant reductions as identified by PA DEP; proposed stormwater BMPs to achieve the minimum required pollutant reductions; the project sponsors, partners, and probable funding sources for each BMP; and the responsible parties for operation and maintenance of each BMP. This Plan is available for public inspection at the municipal building located at 3401 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA , between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.  A public review and comment period shall begin JULY 12, 2017 and shall continue for 30 days. Comments must be made in writing and received by the Township on or before  AUGUST 11, 2017.
